Snug piercing
Snug piercings are made in the area half way on the bouncing cartilage at the back of the ear, just above the anti tragus.
The cartilage being not too thick there, piercing the skin is relatively easier and less painful than for the rook piercing.
Snug piercings are most commonly adorned with micro-barbells.
Initial healing of a snug piercing takes from 8 to 16 weeks, and full healing up to a year.
